SP Holding Support Comedy in the Country
SP Holding showed their support at the weekend by sponsoring a comedy event at local agricultural University, Harper Adams University College in Shropshire. The event, called Comedy in the Country brought together 6 of Britains top comedians including Jimmy Carr, Russell Kane and Jack Whitehall to raise money in support of the NSPCC, Severn Hospice, Self Help Africa, Help for Heroes and Face charities.
Comedy in the Country saw the comedians performing 4 hours of stand up entertaiment to a 2,000 plus strong audience in a big top style tent. To show their support, SP Holding's own events department provided much needed hire equipment including tower lights and portable toilets to the event.
The event organisers hope to have raised more than £20,000 for the charities and have increase awareness for the great work that the charities do each year.
